Michele Vacchiano was born in Turin in 1951.
Photographer and writer, he has published books on photography, a children's novel, as well as hundreds of articles published on journals and on-line magazines.
He has always been strongly committed to spreading the knowledge and culture of photography.
Currently he organizes courses and workshops for both beginners and experienced photographers.
His images have been exhibited both in Italy and abroad.
In 2013 he was granted the Green Ribbon award for his commitment to the environment and territory.
He is one of the first Italian photographers to obtain the IMQ certification as a professional in possession of the requirements of UNI standard.
Michele Vacchiano è nato a Torino nel 1951.
Fotografo e scrittore, ha al suo attivo numerose pubblicazioni: manuali tecnici, libri di immagini e anche un romanzo per ragazzi, oltre a centinaia di articoli apparsi su riviste cartacee e telematiche.
La formazione e la diffusione della cultura fotografica hanno sempre rappresentato un aspetto importante della sua attività.
Attualmente organizza corsi e workshop destinati tanto ai principianti quanto ai fotografi esperti.
Le sue immagini sono state esposte in occasione di mostre personali e collettive, sia in Italia che all'estero.
Nel 2013 gli è stato assegnato il premio Green Ribbon per il suo impegno a favore dell'ambiente e del territorio.
E' fra i primi fotografi italiani ad avere ottenuto la certificazione IMQ come professionista in possesso dei requisiti richiesti dalla normativa UNI.
